Your talents will help shape the future of healthcare.As the Senior Manager Surgery SCP Precision Plastics, you will be responsible for all the Precision Plastics spend within Johnson & Johnson Medical Technologies. This multifaceted role requires critical thinking, cross-functional teamwork, strong procurement and business acumen and a passion for driving value through innovative sourcing.Located in Raritan, NJ, or alternatively in Zug, Switzerland, you will develop and complete procurement strategies, ensuring quality, service, cost, and compliance.Please note that this role is available across multiple countries and may be posted under different requisition numbers to comply with local requirements. While you are welcome to apply to any or all of the postings, we recommend focusing on the specific country(s) that align with your preferred location(s):US - Requisition Number: R-067695Switzerland - Requisition Number: R-067892Remember, whether you apply to one or all of these requisition numbers, your applications will be considered as a single submission.The position holder will manage a team of 2-3 direct reports.Sourcing<ul><li>Lead or support sourcing initiatives to identify the right supplier partners, Influence decisions, delivering ongoing value improvements while driving competitive advantage.</li><li>Develop spend analysis and bring together market intelligence in alignment with business goals.</li><li>Identify emerging needs within a specific area of focus and develop the vision, strategy and implementation plan that will optimally meet the long-range requirements of the business partners and deliver the maximum value for J&J</li><li>Develop and lead price and cost initiatives; Prepare and complete RFQs for medium to high complexity sourcing decisions; Conduct negotiations with suppliers.</li><li>Collaborate with supplier leadership to assure alignment of J&J’s objectives are met, including quality, reliability, innovation, and cost</li><li>Deliver on financial, service, reliability, quality, innovation, and growth commitments.</li><li>Build and maintain relationships throughout J&J that results in interactive dialogue on a broad range of perspectives and information critical to the development of efficient approaches and solutions.</li></ul>Category Strategy Development<ul><li>Develop the category sourcing strategy for the defined portfolio through Business needs assessment, Market intelligence, Supplier evaluations and sourcing choices.</li><li>Understand long range requirements to ensure alignment; Develop and implement sourcing strategy.</li></ul>Supplier Management<ul><li>Develop and lead or support supplier partnerships to drive performance delivery, risk mitigation, and value through supplier enabled innovation.</li><li>Cultivate and use strategic relationships with key business partners (e.g., Internal partners, supplier leadership) to craft, optimize, and diversify the supply base.</li><li>Develop innovative and balanced solutions to identify and mitigate risk, drive long-term, end-to-end value, and achieve unmet business needs. Identify and pursue opportunities to develop supplier capabilities.</li><li>Conduct Business Review meetings with suppliers that include comprehensive supplier performance management and review.</li></ul>Contracting<ul><li>Use procurement expertise and global business understanding to implement contracts.</li><li>Ensure that agreements and the manner they are performed meet business demands of all collaborators and are aligned with the organization’s overall procurement and business strategy.</li></ul>Team Management<ul><li>Set clear goals, priorities, and performance measures to ensure alignment with business objectives while fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and innovation within the team.</li><li>Manage talents, provide coaching and guidance to team members.</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>At least 8 years of procurement or supply chain experience across fields such as manufacturing, operations, procurement, or distribution</li><li>Strong understanding of core procurement functions: Spend Management, Category Management, Sourcing, Supplier Management</li><li>Proven leadership, teamwork, and influencing skills</li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills</li><li>Analytical mindset with problem-solving competence</li><li>Project management experience leading cross-functional initiatives</li><li>Business and financial competence, with negotiation expertise</li><li>Ability to communicate effectively across organizational levels</li></ul>Preferred:<ul><li>Proven experience within Medical Devices or Healthcare is a plus</li><li>Master’s Degree or MBA preferred</li><li>Certification: CPSM, CSCP, CPIM, PMP, or Six Sigma Green/Black Belt (preferred)</li><li>Knowledge of ERP, SAP, MRP systems, and Advanced Planning tools</li><li>Experience with Process Excellence and Six Sigma methodologies</li></ul>Additional Details<ul><li>Proficiency in English required</li><li>Up to 20% domestic and international travel</li></ul>Johnson & Johnson is an Equal Opportunity Employer. This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s long-term incentive program.
