MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT
As a Field Technician III, the work youll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission of multiple MK 41 VLS customers . You will play a crucial role in MK 41 VLS HM&E equipment is maintained and tested to the stringent VLS requirements to maintain National Security.
Support fabricating, installations, maintaining, and repairing electronic, mechanical, and/or other types of components and equipment.
Collaborate with the GDIT VLS Team to ensure operational status of contracted VLS HM&E work is completed to required procedures and specifications.
Drive VLS Team to identify and correct any deficiencies found.
Utilize HM&E experience to support the GDIT VLS Team in provideing the Fleet and Program are maintained to the highest levels.

WHAT YOULL NEED TO SUCCEED
Bring your HM&E expertise along with a drive for innovation to GDIT. The Field Technician III must have:
Education: Associates of Arts/Associates of Science
Experience: 3+ years of related experience
Technical skills: Ability to Remove, Overhaul, Test, and/or Install VLS Deluge Tank Relief Valves, Marotta Valves, Hy-Check Valves, Root and Isolation System Valves, and Hydrostatic testing and certification of Hoses, Valves, and Tanks in accordance with NAVSEA requirements, Navy MRCs, VLS Authorized Procedures, and Technical Manuals.
Security clearance level: Secret
US citizenship required
Role requirements: Problem Solving, Communication, Microsoft Word, and Excel, and understanding of Test Equipment/Gauge Calibration.
