The Systems Administrator SME must have: Education: Technical Training, Certification(s) or Degree Experience: 15+ years of related experience Technical skills:Experience with enterprise-level Linux distributions (e.g. Red Hat, CentOS, Ubuntu)Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems and command line interface (CLI)Experience with system automation tools with a focus on AnsibleKnowledge of network protocols and services (e.g. TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)Familiarity with virtualization technologies (e.g. VMWare, KVM, Docker, OpenShift)Knowledge of database management systems (e.g. MySQL, PostgreSQL)Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g. Nagios, Zabbix, ELK Stack)Understanding of security best practices and protocolsFamiliarity with version control systems (e.g. Gitlab) Security clearance level: Active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph US citizenship requiredGDIT IS YOUR PLACEAt GDIT, the mission is our purpose, and our people are at the center of everything we do.
