Capture Director - IC/USCC

GDIT is seeking a Capture Director with primary responsibility for leading and winning new business opportunities with the Intelligence Community (IC) and USCYBERCOMMAND (USCC) markets. The successful candidate will report to the VP of Growth for Space and Cyber Intelligence, as part of the Intelligence and Homeland Security (IHS) Growth team.You will lead pre-proposal shaping activities, orchestrate capture activities during the proposal phase and post-submittal activities, and must show a proven methodology toward increasing win probability.This position provides an outstanding opportunity to play a leadership role as we work together to apply the breadth of resources available in our organization to critical technology and mission challenges across theIntelligence Community. HOW A CAPTURE DIRECTOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACTIn this position, you will be responsible for leading capture activities in support of winning key opportunities within the Cyber, HPC, Analytics, Research, andEnterprise IT business of the Space and Cyber Intelligence Sector. As a Capture Director, you will be responsible for pursuing and winning new business contracts with values ranging up to $2B.You will be a key member of the Growth Team, collaborating with operations and engineering personnel across business areas to capture and win strategicopportunities primarily within the IC and USCC-based customer markets.Responsible for pursuing strategic Cyber, HPC, Analytics, Research, andEnterprise IT opportunities within the Federal (IC, USCC) spaceProvide strategic thinking and execution for capture efforts through determining capture team resource requirements and managing costs throughout the Bid Acquisition ProcessEngage with customers, partners, and other relevant stakeholders to qualify new business opportunitiesInterfaces between Business Development and internal and external stakeholders (Business Areas, Operations and Engineering Staff, and Corporate functional organizations) to develop technical, management and pricing strategiesUnderstand capabilities, strengths, and weaknesses and direct the development of solution development, CONOPS and path to winManage multiple capture efforts simultaneously depending upon where the opportunity resides in the acquisition processProvide customer and business knowledge through business intelligence to ensure the team fully understands the desires and needs of the customers and the capabilities of potential competitorsDevelop win themes and strategies including value propositions. Identify and obtain commitment from industry partners to include OEMs to bridge gaps and increase the PwinEstablish value added teaming strategies and competitive pricing structures to create a profitable return at a winning costCo-Lead with cost estimating team the pricing strategy to provide alignment to the solution and the optimal cost advantage for the bidCo-Lead with Proposal Manager the color team reviews to ensure that reviews are conducted in a repeatable manner adhering to procedures and processesSupports continual business development process improvementResponsible for capturing, documenting, maintaining and reporting capture and pursuit metricsMeets and/or exceeds performance goals in support of overall corporate growth and success while maintaining and implementing a professional approach to include full awareness and compliance of applicable Federal Procurement and Business Ethics Codes and Regulations WHAT YOULL NEED TO SUCCEED:Candidates must have 5+ yearsof proven experience capturing and winning new business ($200M+opportunities) in the IC/USCCmarket.Bachelors degree (e.g. Business, Marketing, Engineeringetc technical discipline preferred)5+ yearsofrelevant business development, capture, proposal, and/or government sales/marketingexperience in the IC marketMust have a demonstrated ability to lead, develop, and manage a high performing team of professionals towards achieving business objectives. This includes experience running black hats, analyzing competitive landscapes, leading review teams, and the ability to develop and implement creative strategies into winning bids including a thorough understanding of price to win analysisMust demonstrate strong quantitative and analysis skills to analyze market and customer trends and be well versed in industry practices/trends/leaders with knowledge of respective acquisition/procurement policies and regulationsMust also possess excellent written/verbal communications skills, presentation skills, organizational time management skills; team building skills, and display a strong sales presenceMust have a proven track record of identifying, qualifying, and assisting capture and proposal efforts in support of winning large, technology-based solutions contracts within the Federal Government with emphasis on ICKnowledge of major industry competitors in Maryland (Ft.Meade area) requiredCurrent, active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph Location: Hybrid to Annapolis Junction, MD office with the expectation the selected individual will work at least three (3) days per week in office/customer sites as needed GDIT IS YOUR PLACEAt GDIT, the mission is our purpose, and our people are at the center of everything we do.
